The College of Metal

The yellow wind of magic blows with the sound of alchemy. On its airs flies the Soaring Eagle, Chamon, the power of metal, through which gold blooms and steel grows stronger than the sum of its parts.

Also some pretty sick tunes.

The Gold College is highly favored by the folk of the Warhammer world, and it's obvious why. A wizard who can transmute common minerals to those more valuable, or strengthen standard iron into lifesaving enchanted armour, shows their worth a tad more obviously than, say, a shadow wizard you can hardly see in the corner over there.

Their Dungeon Bowl teams are as hard-hitting as the metal it manipulates, attracting Orcs, Humans, the favoured of Khorne, and hulking Black Orcs.

This "bashy" style has not yielded them as many victories as they would like, however, and there are rumours that the gold produced to cover the expenses of Dungeon Bowl team comes from magical means, rather than honest ones!

Fast Facts

Teams from the College of Metal value a good punch to the face over tactful passing or moving plays. As such, they do well when working together in pairs to assist one another with hardier opponents, so the general unreliability of teleporters does not often work in their favor; a Gold player finding themselves alone in a dungeon hall full of enemies can do little to sprint away to safety (except, perhaps, the dodgy Goblin Bruisers).

No, the metallic ones do better to heed lessons learned from their kindred Blood Bowl teams. Slow and steady, lots of fouling, lots of bashing, then score when the other team is licking their wounds.
